FAQ's

What checks have been made on our staff?
All staff are required to have a National Insurance number, identification and two references.

What training measures do you use?
Our staff are fully trained in the areas which they will work spending ¾ weeks with a manager, who gives training and guidance.

Who supplies the cleaning products?
We ask our customers to provide all cleaning materials. We provide vacuum cleaners which are regularly checked.

Are staff self employed? Who pays their holidays etc?
All our staff are employed by Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services. We pay holidays including bank holidays. This is included in the price.

How do you check the standard of cleaning?
High standards are maintained by customers being given a monthly task sheet which cleaners complete each visit. It explains any extra jobs they have carried out. Spot checks are also undertaken. In addition to this customers are requested to complete questionnaires. All feedback is very important to us.

What happens if I go on holiday?
Cleaners would still come to your house but would be able to carry out extra jobs which they do not have time to complete on a normal visit e.g. inside kitchen cupboards, ironing. If you did not wish anyone to come whilst you were on holiday then a retainer fee of ¾ of the price would be charged.

What happens if I want to cancel the cleaning contract?
We require 4 weeks notice.

What happens when my cleaner is on holiday?
All our staff are trained to the same high standards and we provide you with another cleaner whilst your regular one is on holiday.

Is there insurance cover for damage done by the cleaner?
You are responsible for the first £100 of any claim. Cover is provided for major damage over £100.
